Do you offer permanent or temporary babysitting services?
We specialize in temporary babysitting services only. We strive to provide affordable, safe and convenient babysitting services to families on an as-needed basis. If you have long term or permanent needs see our Opt to Nanny Service.
What if I realize that I need a Nanny and not a Sitter?
If you are looking for a nanny for your children, fear not. We have happily partnered with The Help Company NYC who is wonderful and able to fulfill your nanny needs.
The Opt to Nanny Service is for families who need a full-time nanny. If you would like for one of our Sitters to work exclusively with your family and on a regular basis, both parties must agree and a fee of $600 would be assessed as we would have to remove our beloved sitter from our team to work with your family as a Nanny.
Do you provide training for your Sitters?
Our Sitters go through New Sitter Training and Sitter Workshops throughout the year!
What is multi-intelligence?
Multi-intelligence describes the eight proposed measures of intelligence assessed and addressed in childhood education.

Our Booking
Is there a minimum of hours required for booking a Sitter?
Yes, we do have a minimum time commitment of 3 hours for babysitting. We also have options for long term needs such as homework help. Contact us for rates and information if you need a homework helper.
What if we are coming from out of town?
If you are traveling to the City, please give us a call or text at (347) 436-8357, or follow the steps on the home page.
Do you provide babysitting services for special events or work with business?

Do you provide trials?
Your first hour is on us! If you do not feel like your Sitter is the right match for your family, we will be happy to send another Sitter over. A refund is provided if we are unable to find someone that works well with your family.
Our Membership
Depending on how often you will need a Sitter, you choose your Membership.
The Monthly Pass ($35/month) or Annual Pass ($225/year).
What if I need to cancel after I book a Sitter?
If you cancel less than 48 hours before your scheduled Sitting will be charged a $30.00 cancellation fee. You may use a Cancellation Fee Waiver to avoid this fee.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled Sitting you will be charged a 3 hour minimum for the Sitter and charged a $30.00 cancellation fee.
What are cancellation waivers?
We know how hectic life can get. And sometimes, no matter how well we plan, we have to make last minute changes. Creative Sitters offers Cancellation Fee Waivers with our Monthly and Annual Memberships (each a $30.00 value) that can be applied to an incurred cancellation fee.
Our Sitters
Can I meet your Sitters before I book a Sitter?
Yes, we have monthly Speed Sitting Soiree Events where you can meet our Sitters. Sign up for our Email Newsletter here to be notified of our next one.
What is Speed Sitting?
Speed Sitting is our meet-and-greet event where we introduce current and prospective families to our Sitters in an informal setting and in a time efficient way.
Who provides the First-Aid/CPR Classes?
Our Sitters are trained through the Nanny Course provided by Baby Be Safe, Inc. They certify all of our Sitters in Infant/Child/Adult CPR and First Aid.
What if we have more than 3 children?
Your children’s safely is our main priority, and therefore we can safely provide care for up to 3 children per Sitter. If you have more than 3 children, we can provide an additional Sitter for an additional $10 per hour.
If we have a play date set up, will the Sitter watch the other child or children?
Although we are natural kid magnets, we care about safety in numbers. Our contract and insurance covers only your children, so we ask that the other children have their own parent/guardian to watch over them. If a play-date is anticipated please let us know ahead of time and we can provide an additional Sitter for an additional $10 an hour for your play-date.
